I was employed as a software engineer at BMW in Munich when I decided to undertake an MBA. I’m French and went to a French engineering school, although most of my career has been spent working in international offices in Singapore, in the US and lately in Germany. I knew my career, going forward, would remain in a global context.
After 12 years developing cutting edge technology: the latest telecommunication protocols, the safest turbo-propeller controls and finally the newest drive assistance, I decided this wasn’t enough. Implementing technology is exciting but not as much as choosing which technology should come next, which innovation is the right strategic move to conquer which market. To accomplish this I needed to understand marketing, finance, accounting and of course strategy that has now become my passion.
My wife greatly supported me in my step even though it meant having a distant relationship a whole year long. I am so grateful to her!
So it was important to me to find an MBA programme that offered an international learning environment, the highest education quality and that didn’t last longer than one year.
