As another exciting term closes and our Global Consulting Projects begin, here are three absolute highlights from Lent on the Cambridge MBA:

Leadership Lab:
Through this elective module taught and facilitated by the amazing Uzair Qadeer, we reflected on our life journeys so far, each taking a turn in the ‘hot seat’ to share how our unique experiences continue to shape our leadership purpose, and we wrote a letter of advice from our future self. We laughed, cried and bonded over shared hopes & fears – a genuinely inspiring MBA elective!

Pitching & Entrepreneurship:
It was a pleasure to take part in Darwin College Business Plan Competition together with Mitali Waghmare and Anna Winter, winning best pitch. Big thanks to Fergus McCormack and Dr. Alex Smeets for organising, and to the judges Ewan Kirk, Miranda Weston-Smith, David Nugent and Omar M. Special thanks to Ewan for enabling such a great competition. It was also exciting to pitch alongside Anna as finalists for Cambridge Zero’s Climate Challenge at King’s College, Cambridge – thank you to Will Crook for organising, and to judges Nicky Dee, Kamiar Mohaddes, Tara Love and James Cole. Huge congratulations to truly worthy prize-winners Deepanshu Singh, PhD, Eng. Sally Musonye & Jockim Kamalha, and Hauwa Busari & Maureen Abel.

Cambridge Half Marathon:
Finally, completing a half marathon for the first time in the glorious March sunshine made all the icy, dark winter training runs worth it. The crowds created a brilliant atmosphere; thanks to all who cheered us on!
