I have officially fallen in love with Cambridge!

I have lived here for 4 months now and while there have been some personal lows and way too much corporate finance, I am finally starting to feel at home.

The cobbled streets,
The cyclists,
The spires on every corner,
The old doors that seem like they shouldn’t open,
The music,
The international melting pot,
The hidden architecture,
The free museums,
The river,
The birdsongs,
The passion for recycling,
The frozen cobwebs,
The endless green…

I have learnt a lot from my MBA so far, but I am so happy that I am learning to fall in love again. Falling in love with places is magical because it reminds you how big the world is and how small you are. Every corner of the world is called home to someone, and that means that every corner of the world has a little love in it.

Rachel Cottam, a Forté Foundation Fellow, a wife and a mother and currently an MBA student at Cambridge Judge Business School, inspires us with her love of Cambridge as she moved from the USA to the UK, with her family, to embark on an MBA adventure at the University of Cambridge.
