My time in Cambridge has been nothing short of intellectually transformative. As I navigate my MBA journey at Cambridge Judge Business School, I am constantly amazed by the depth of experiences and opportunities that make Cambridge so special.

One of the most exciting aspects has been my participation in the King’s Entrepreneur Lab, conducted under Cambridge Judge Professor Kamiar Mohaddes’s guidance. The lab allows curious minds to converge with technical talks on topics like using AI to understand drug failures or entrepreneurial-driven guidance on subjects like, when to begin commercialising research for a start up idea.

My decision to join a Varsity sports team (University of Cambridge) has opened doors I never imagined existed. Unlike other MBA programmes where business school students often remain in their own little bubble, Cambridge’s collegiate system has allowed me to forge deep connections across the wider University of Cambridge ecosystem. Whether it’s early morning training sessions or post-match socials, I have found myself building meaningful relationships with students from all walks of life and all corners of the planet.

These connections have led to fascinating conversations with 6th-year medical students sharing their clinical experiences, PhD candidates in Semiconductor Physics explaining their research, and Philosophy and Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic Literature students offering perspectives on the relationship between ancient texts and modern thinking.

The rhythm of Cambridge life, alternating between intense sporting commitments and elegant College Formal events, has given me a profound appreciation for the university’s traditions and its forward-looking spirit. There’s something magical about discussing start up ideas over a formal dinner in a hall that’s centuries old.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to dive into Professor Jaideep Prabhu’s class on Innovation and Marketing in Emerging Economies. As an Academic Fellow of Clare College (my college) and a highly regarded professor from Cambridge Judge, I am excited to sink into his lectures.

Equally exciting is the opportunity to continue engaging with and learning from founders in Silicon Fen and the wider Cambridge ecosystem, who are pushing the boundaries of innovation. The convergence of Cambridge’s historic academic excellence with its dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem makes the MBA experience genuinely unrivalled.

The Cambridge journey isn’t just about earning a degree – it’s about being part of a centuries-old tradition while helping shape the future. Every day here reminds me why this university continues to be at the forefront of global innovation and learning, and I am honoured to have a seat in the classroom and at the table.
