Like many other MBA candidates, I chose the Cambridge MBA to immerse myself in the wider university and college life. Having rowed throughout my undergraduate degree at Nottingham, UK, I naturally joined my college rowing team at Peterhouse upon arriving in Cambridge.
I was selected by Peterhouse for the 1st boat which means over 10 training sessions per week and many early mornings on the River Cam, before classes begin for the day. The hard work is already paying off as we recently won the Cambridge Autumn Head Race in the Michaelmas Term.
Rowing has proved a great way to connect with a broad variety of students outside of the Business School community and my MBA classmates, as well as keeping me fit and refreshed during the rigorous MBA programme.
I am thoroughly excited to compete in Cambridge’s infamous ‘Bumps Races’ later in my MBA year, in the Lent Term.
